In 1978, we produced one of
Australia’s most spectacular multiscreen slideshows, for Life. Be
in it. Since then, we’ve made displays, films, videos, radio spots,
computer-based speakers presentations, interactive games, CD-ROMs and
websites. Right now, we’re even looking into holograms!
Website
structure development and testing
Grandma told us, 'A place
for everything, and everything in its place'. Using traditional
editorial skills, we sort out the content on initial plans and functional
specifications, making sure the main branches are strong enough to support
the structure, and that every content item is where it should be. Often,
this involves testing with potential users to ensure the structure and
navigation and clear and useful.
Interactive
feature planning and development
Interactive features (such
as rollovers, image swaps and pop-ups) can be a useful aid to providing
information - or they can be a pain in the neck. Using instructional
design skills, we plan interactive features that users like to interact
with.
Design
& programming
We don't just plan websites
- we make them, too. Screen-based and interactive technology demand
many of the mainstays of successful print: a sound structure, appealing
graphics and well-written text. Take
these away and you’re left with sites that meander around the place,
have little content or just look dull.
We’re especially proud of our
strong programming skills, which allow for high levels of interactivity,
data collection, response mechanisms and the other features that make
for winning multimedia presentations.
